For almost 25 years, the Community Theatre group has been at the heart of Vita Nova, offering hundreds of people in recovery some structure, weekly support, and help with rebuilding their confidence.
Acting experience isn’t required but a willingness to have a go is! This session is on Wednesdays 1pm to 3pm.
Drama offers our participants, a unique platform to improve self-expression, reconnect with the community and to restore their self-belief. The group performs in schools as part of our Drug and alcohol education outreach programme, offering students a rare opportunity to strike a dialogue with those who have lived through and survived addiction.
