The Wasp’s Nest – 2026 Schools Spring Tour
The Wasps’ Nest is a short play (45 minutes) tackling the themes of county lines, knife crime and drug use, suitable for Years 7 – 11 and Sixth Form students. Due to the success of last year’s tour, we are now taking this important educational programme to secondary schools.
The play is followed by a Q&A session in which students can ask questions and hear testimonies from those who have lived experience of addiction.
We also offer a parents’ evening performance, which we have found to be very successful in educating parents and opening up conversations between them and their children.
As well as being integral to PSHE education, the programme also aligns with BTEC, GCSE and A Level Drama as both plays provide an invaluable example of Theatre in Education and Community Theatre.
Endorsed by Public Health Dorset, and supported by Police & Crime Commissioner, David Sidwick, Vita Nova is currently touring in schools around the county.
